Mortal Kombat Trilogy

Mortal Kombat Trilogy has got to be the coolest game ever.
The graphics are way better than Mortal Kombat 3 you get all
the coolest characters like Baraka, and Johnny Cage. A whole
load of backgrounds even the origianl infamous pit. Plus all
the other pits. This game is beyond my expectations!!!
Graphics
The graphics were splendid. Beautifully drawn backgrounds
true to the arcade flare. An exact duplicate of the
greatness. All the characters are represtented from each
Mortal Kombat old and new versions. They still all look good.
Sound
The music from the older MK's is back and it's better! More
clearer than on the SNES and Genesis. Pretty close to what
the arcade had to offer. This game is so great I look for a
slot to insert my quarter on the PSX! The Sound FX steped up
and sound very realistic.
GamePlay
All the stages are represented here from the previous
versions. The Endurance mode is back!! And better than ever.
New fatalities have been added and all the old combos are
here. With the huge list of characters you finnaly can
settle all those disputes between the 3 Mortal Kombats. The
only thing that still missing and may never return is
Sub-Zero's head ripping fatality it was replace by the
cheesy blackout. We all know what it is but its not the
same. Other than that this game is quite flawless. Maybe the
Shang Tsung morph slowdown. This is the only thing I hate
about cd's in part 2, Tsung was the coolest character ever
is was mega fun uses your opponets fatality against him, not
so in this one Tsung remains in the cra*per as far as I'm concerned.
Overall 10 out of 10
Overall a very solid game. This one scores a flawless
victory, just for the idea of combining 3 of the greatest
games of all time. The series took a big downfall with the
dumb MK3 then ultimate MK3 barely made up for it, this
makes up for all those mistakes, too bad it couldn't make up
for MK4. Anyway fighting fan, mk series fan, or if you like
a lot of blood this is definately your type of game.
