This is going to be short and sweet. The PS3 is a superior gaming system. I have played this thing non stop it seems. Also, the blu ray player is probably the best thing about it. Also, the online network is free.

Compared to the other system on the market such as the xbox 360 or the Nntendo wii the ps3 is no dought the most advanced, threwmany different aspects but the big one being blu-ray. if you have ever seen blu-ray you know what i am talking about imagine that threw gaming, a game like metal gear solid 4 which takes almost full advantage of what the ps3 has to offer, games like this seperate the ps3 from any other console. With the game library of 2008 and early 2009 such as killzone 2, final fantasy 13, socom,little big planet, god of war 3, bioshock, and maybe a possiblity of home, the 3D virtual online world the ps3 no dought has the best game lineup set for the upcomming months if you look at the price of the ps3 you actually get what you are paying for such as built in wifi,blutooth technology, Six-Axis, and of course blu-ray i suggest this console to any age gamer that wants to expirence great technology in the making....

After days of searching reviews for a Blu-ray player, I stumble on Amazon to discover a game machine is actually considered THE best format for watching a High Def DVD! We watch a new NetFlix DVD every single night on it with NO problems. Only games I have played it it were the free demos we downloaded off it's internet capabilities for FREE. Save yourself a lot of heartache, just buy this and relax. Have to get back to my movies now....

I bought this to play Blu Ray movies on my new 1080P Samsung. Works great, and very quiet, contrary to the Xbox 360 which is very loud. I have not played games on the Sony since I did not buy it for that but I am sure it is good for that as well.

I've owned a 360 but i sold it for this. I'm not sorry either, this is an AMAZING console, the best out there. Tons of fun. It holds all my music and movies. BUY.
