I purchased this device to use on my PC running Vista. While the keyboard worked perfectly, the touchpad did not function. After investigating this on Logitech's website, I learned that it is a common issue with this product and has no apparent solution.
I also did not like the design of this product. Specifically, the actual keyboard is not centered in the structure of the unit, and the right side of the unit (with the touchpad) is heavier than the left side. This makes using the product awkward, especially if you are trying to balance it in your lap.
I ended up returning the item and purchasing a more expensive Logitech product, and I am very pleased with it.

Has absolutely no issues syncing within Linux on my ps3. It's cool having the mouse and keyboard as one.

I'm using the Logitech Cordless Mediaboard Pro keyboard with my PC to reply to e-mails from the couch. My PC is close to and hooded up to the television in my living room, so I can switch the TV input to the computer and control the computer fully from 15 feet away. The integrated touchpad makes this fully able to do all PC functions from. I wish I had bought this earlier, but I am glad I have it now.

I've been using this keyboard with my laptop, and it works perfectly. From 10-15 feet away I've been experiencing no signal loss, even though my laptop is connected to a big-screen TV - a set-up that rendered my previous Logitech wireless keyboard useless.
The touch pad is another nice feature. Since I am using this keyboard with my laptop, making the transition is a breeze, and the sensitivity is comparable to that on my Dell touch pad, including the scrolling function along the right edge of the pad.
The function buttons for media at the top of the keyboard work with my Dell as well, so in effect I have a great remote for multimedia, and a first-rate keyboard for internet browsing, etc.
Overall, this is a fine product. It is light, looks good, and has all the features one would want. I give it 4/5 stars because the tactile feel of the keyboard compares poorly with other Logitech products. Perhaps this is because the keyboard is so slim, but the same could be said for my laptop, which in fact has excellent key travel and pressure. Had there been the option to give 4.5 stars, that's what this product would get.

I don't have a PS3. I use this as a remote for my home media pc.
The home media pc is connected to a 32" LCD through the hdmi connection. The keyboard connects to the PC through bluetooth. Now I can browse the internet, listen to music or watch movies on the 32" TV and control everything from my couch.
The integrated touchpad on the keyboard is what makes it ideal for the media center. In spite of the interface improvements in home media setups, I still need to use the mouse to have complete control of the pc. The touchpad on the keyboard works very well. Plus the keyboard is thin and lightweight. So it can be easily moved around like a remote. The On/off switch also is very convenient as it saves the battery and pairs with the pc as soon as the keyboard is switched ON. Overall I am very happy with the product except for the steep price.
