Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - A Pain For Linux
I was very excited when I ordered this item. I was looking for a keyboard that would be compadable with yellow dog 6 or ubuntu gusty gibson linux. Logitech has admitted that this keyboard is not compadible with any linux distro. There is a way to get it to work, but it rather difficult for begginners. There is really no point in purchasing a keyboard like this for ps3 if you can't run this on linux. Might as well save twenty bucks and buy the usb.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Work Perfectly with Vista and Azio BTD603-132
I purchased the Mediaboard Pro to browse the internet on the PS3; but discovered that web browsing on PS3 was really slow and restricted due to lack of plug-in supports such as Flash and Acrobat Reader. So, I decided to use it for my HTPC instead. (Since this is BlueTooth device; you will need to purchase a BT adapter.) I bought an Azio adapter because it had great reviews but I had very little knowledge on bluetooth in general. I google "Mediaboard pro and Vista" and found that in general Mediaboard PRO was not supported on VISTA (okay on XP)---at least to Logitech Support. Nevertheless, I went to Azio site and download the driver for it and discovered that Toshiba wrote the BT stack for it. (Don't use the (out-dated)version from Azio; Vista won't like it). So, I google "Toshiba Bluetooth Stack driver" and install the 5.10.12 version of the stack (http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=download). (In addition, I installed Logitech SetPoint 4.40.) To pair the Mediaboard Pro, just launch BT wizard on the bottom right corner of your screen and press the "reset" button on the bottom of the keyboard and following the instruction on the screen. Both keyboard and touchpad work perfectly for me. So now, I definitely can recommend this product for use on (XP and) Vista. I would NOT recommend this as a must-have accessory for PS3 web-browsing until Sony fix its browser's capability and speed.

Note: This keyboard (BT) is not supported at the BIOS level so don't give away your old keyboard and mouse.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Works well but not as integrated and dedicated to PS3 as I thought.
A very short review on the keyboard when used with a PS3 or a PC linked to a TV. This Keyboard uses one of the 4 USB ports on the front of the PS3. You can still connect up to 7 controllers as those are wireless and chances are slim that you'd be charging 4 at te same time.

PROS:
1) Good range: we have a large 63" HDTV in the family room and sit 15 to 20 feet away sometimes: that range is no problem.
2) The keyboard has an on/off button, which helps save batteries as you probably do not use this daily.
3) The touchpad is great: who wants to try and use a mouse on a lazyboy or sofa.
4) The keyboard has responsive keys.

CONS:
1) The keyboard is laid out as a normal keyboard, i.e. it is not always clear when using the PS3 as to what buttons to press to get the desired effect. A little common sense and trial and error will sort you out though.
2) More severe: there is a lag when using the touchpad that can be quite irritating as you will sometimes have a hard time positioning the cursor, especially since the PS3 browser sometimes makes everything tiny.
3) Given the PS3 browser shortfalls around displaying the webpages a built in zoom functrion would have been great.
4) They should have added PS3 specific keys to truly call this a PS3 keyboard and they should have color matched it.

Conclusion: still much better than any solution that has no touchpad. That is truly the lifesaver here. Otherwise the keyboard is so so and not PS3 tailored. This keyboard is not worth the 45$ but gets that because of lack of quality alternatives.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Responsive, light, and portable
Great size and weight. I use this more in conjunction with my living room PC than for gaming, but it is effective for both. The trackpad is fine and scroll function is very responsive. Battery life thus far is also better than I expected. I've been using it daily for about 90 minutes or so over a month now and haven't noticed any performance decrease due to battery weakness. This would have received 5 stars if it was priced at around $15.00 less.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Logitech Coordless Mediaboard Pro for PS3
Very nice product by Logitech. Bluetooth keyboard made specifically for PS3 and works flawlessly. I have only gotten the chance to use it so send a message or two, I bought this to make games with text chat easier. Although I haven't gotten to test it in a text chat game it works great in every other aspect I've used it for with the PS3, great product. The only downfall is the price.
