It'a a good complement for the PS3 system but there aren't many games that supports it. With Burnout Paradise is a lot of fun the mugshot, with PES 2008 you can use to edit your face but isn't accurate and takes a lot of work to create a face.
Chat: I think most of PS3 users don't use the system for chatting, so not much use for this either.
Maybe in the near future with the Home service will be useful, or more games to come to support it.

I bought the PlayStation 3 Eye for my Husband for his Birthday, we love it! It's fun to use the fun viewing options! It is a great price also!

This ps eye is very good. It follows you better than the first eyetoy and the eyecreate software that you download for free on the playstation store is very cool. The camera itself look very nice, built very well. Also the mic on the camera works awesome. So far, there aren't alot of games out there that use it, but the current uses for it are pretty good.

Its pretty cool. I am glad I paid Amazons price and not full retail. I have tried Aquatopia, Mesmerize and another interactive game that were pretty good too.

The Camera works great. Not only is is fun Feature to have in games, but the Video chat feature is killer..........
