I am really impresed with the ps3 eye, the quality is over the top for the price.

Play station 3 eye is fun with others and by yourself just download the games from the play station store when you go online from your ps3 (downloads are very cheap but get a credit card ready) and also make sure the lighting in the room is just right so the play station 3 eye can read your body movements. It's really fun to show others because it can read your body movements and the weird effects are fun to watch. (Download Operation creature feature and Eye create it's why I got the play station 3 eye)

The camera is cooler than you would think. The quality is not as good as it should be but the capabilities are better than you would think. The games you can download to play with it from the playstation online network are somewhat entertaining but they are also like the camera. Not great but a little more entertaining than you would think. All in all just an average experience but it has promise.

I'm happy to be able to use this little device to communicate with my sister in England. There's a little lag time on the video but the picture is clear and the sound is good. I've also had fun recording my grandkids.

Bought this Playstation 3 Eye specially for Burnout Paradise.. I didn't expect much from the camera. Boy was I wrong. The image is very clear and the software that you can install for free via the Playstation Network is really good for editing your pictures or videos. It also comes with a powerful built in microphone. Just place the camera down, connect it and play games such as Call Of Duty 4 online and you can voice chat with other players online.. No raising of voices needed, the mic will pick your voice up clearly..
The only thing that bothers me is the USB cable. Having the cable makes it difficult to position the camera. With the controllers and keyboards etc for the PS3 going wireless, why couldn't Sony make the PS3 Eye wireless.. One wonders if Sony will release one that is wireless soon..
Other than that, this camera for the Playstation 3 is a perfect addition to an already powerful gaming console. Highly recommended!
