Ok, at first i wasn't sure about this purchase. But after a weekend of uploaded a bunch of Demos, checking out Racket & Clank, and listen to the Internet Radio. Sony's got me. The WIFI reaches more than 25 ft. last about as far as i checked it. The Signal was 50 % strength through a wall or two to the back room. Not too bad. the Radio is clearly broadcasted at that range. Yeah and you can listen to Turkish Radio if that's your thing. It's worth a listen for a little culture people. it has a 50's morris code sounding dial and switcher. witch makes me think we are about to be attacked by Aliens. You can turn that off as well, cause it does get a little high pitched at times.
I think my only real gripe with the system is i wish they would incorporate a better analog stick/botton .. whatever you call it. it's diff. takes some getting used to. Great system, solid package. just don't be an idiot and drop it.

This is a great console not just for playing it can do a lot of stuff, if you want to have some fun buy it, because it is good and the price is fair...

PSP's tend to break very easily, the games get VERY repetitive, and usually require lots of waiting time. I do NOT advise getting one if you want a console that lasts and provides hours of fun. I suggest getting anything else, even the Nintendo DS. In short, don't get a PSP.

i love the glossy finish on the 2000 series. do recommend to others who are on the PSP market. faster loading times is a good reason to buy.

It's going to be a month since I got it delivered from Amazon after a 2 day shipping, and I have to say that I've had more fun with it than with the ps2 or even the ps3.
Graphics are astonishing great, considering the size of this thing. The screen is sharp and bright, and the size I think is perfect.
Speakers are ok for games, not so much for movies, but sound is really good through earphones (which I use 90% of the time. I don't like bothering other people or calling for attention).
I got the piano black one, because I don't like the other colors, and yes it is a finger prints magnet, it gets to look a bit greasy when you've played for some time, but it's a matter of cleaning it with a piece of cloth once in a while if you would like it shining all the time.
Battery life, about 5 hours or so, is more than enough for a common day (if you get to play more than that, dude, get a life), for long trips you can always use a car charger or, in other cases, just keep another battery at hand.
The TV out feature I doubt I'll ever use it, 'cause I don't find the point in using a portable device on a TV (non portable of course) at home or elsewhere.
Controls (I mean buttons and analog stick together) have a good feeling when you touch them, and are comfortable to press, although I had to get used to the analog stick, which could be too small for hands too big. Also, I had the constant feeling that grip was not enough and that I was about slip over it, not now though (and it never happened either).
Games are awesome, especially if you were a hardcore gamer back then in the 90's, you get to play redemption titles for those legendary games like Castlevania, Megaman X and Final Fantasy VII. Other games shine for their originality as well.
Anyway, this is a must get if you enjoy playing good games and would like to play them in that times when you get bored and perhaps is impossible to read a book or else.
Thank you for reading.
