My grandsons love the PS2. It's well worth the price as they play several games on it which keeps them away from the TV!

Let me just let everybody Know the HUGE Differences Between The two, Big and slim .......
BIG PS2 : 1. PLay longer .2. Weak at reading scratched disc . 3. Over heated after 2 to 4 to 6 hours of game play
SLIM PS2 : 1. Play about the same time , but the console will shut down by it's self, if overheated for a certain amount of time ! ...3. Can Read The Most Scratched Up Disc EVER !!
Slim Win's Because Of the Disc Reading !
Big ps2 would win because you could play for 10 Hours and Not worry !
I still choose slim!

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He had one and it broke so I re-bought for him and he was stoked! I didn't know that they were smaller now than they used to be. But they are and that is nice when it is kept in my living room.

i would recommend this console to buy it, though there are new consoles (ps3, xbox 360) there are still good games for ps2 even if you could play them in ps3 this console is very portable, oh and the silver color is better than the black one.
