For the price, you can't beat the built in Blu-ray player and media player (with a DLNA media server) features - not even taking into account the gaming.
This is getting 4 stars from me because the wireless kind of stinks (the gig-e wired connect is great though).

I got my ps3 back in jan. of this year so I have not have it that long. Well, ps3 is really awesome and all but you might have a problem with it because I did! Yea, the ps3 was fine UNTIL THAT IT WAS NOT READING ANY DISCS!!! Of course, I called ps3 it TOOK about 15 MINS just to talk to them, they couldn't fix my problem so they gave me an exchange with a pre paid label abd box. Soon after I got the box I ship it in and about a week I got MY PS3!! Well no problem for NOW! HOPEFULLY NO MORE PROBLEMS!!! O YEA do not get the Assian Creed game, there is a glitch in the game, from time to time the game will lock up or freezes.

Its an awesome addition. Never use the 80 gig, should have bought the 40 gig. add ons (controllers remote cables and other) added in $98 to price

Amazing system, flawless gameplay, free online network, upgrades itself and is a blu-ray player on top of it all. PS3 can't be beat, buy one now.

IF THE PS3 WOULD STAY WORKING IT WOULD PROBABLY BE A LOT OF FUN. I GOT MY 80G PS3 A COUPLE WEEKS AGO AND IT BEGAN FREEZING UP DURING MOVIES AND GAMES AFTER THE VERY FIRST USE. NOW AS SOON AS I TURN IT ON IT GOES DIGITAL. SONY WILL WARRANTY IT, BUT I'M A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT WHAT NEXT. SONY SERVICE AND SUPPORT IS ALSO A PAIN, WAITED 15 MINUTES OR MORE EVERY CALL. THEY SAID THEY ARE REALLY BUSY, LOLTS OF PROBLEMS JUST LIKE MINE I IMAGINE :-(
