I thought Guitar Hero was fun the first time I played it, but after playing Rock Band, I don't think I'll ever look at Guitar Hero again. Invest your money in a fun experience and purchase Rock Band.

Rock Band is a great game. I never really liked Guitar Hero, especially from a party standpoint because you have to keep taking turns to play.
Not so with Rock Band ... With Rock Band you have the ability to play guitar, bass (if you get an extra guitar), drums, or sing. All are fun to do and challenging in different ways.
I would recommend this game to anyone that loves music and wants to rock out to some of their favorite rock songs and maybe even find a few new favorites along the way.

I own a guitar hero, but wen i received my rock band, im always playing with my friends, brothers, online, is great, really, i have the double of fun that playing guitar hero.
I can play with a lot of people that makes it more fun, i can create my own character, i can go on tour, etc.
I love this game, if you have friends or family your age, buy!!! this game, i recommend this game 100%
The drums are excellence!!!

We play this frequently as a family. It was a wonderful way for me to introduce the kids to "real" music. Had an issue with the original guitar but EA replaced it quickly. There are some slight language issues for younger kids. I would highly recommend this game.

I am a deployed soldier, and when I finaly got the game in the mail. pretty much my whole company got excited... even the people who really don't like Rock music came to watch those of us who knew the songs play and sing. We all had a blast for the few short hours that he have for some down time. There where some things that I noticed that could have been improved on... but when I looked over as saw just how much fun everyone was having pretending to be their fav. rock star, all that didn't matter... I would like to give a special thanks to the makers of that game, it really brigntened up our lives a little bit.
