That is the only word to describe my skills on this game. I love guitar hero III. I like the 80s version the best because it has "I ran" by Flock of Seagulls. If you have rocked out on GH to that tune, go buy yourself some land and build a log cabin because you don't get it. I even did my hair like FOS. Anyway, onto this game. I love it. I enjoyed jamming to evenflow, cult of personality and barracuda. I mastered all of them pretty quickly. Can I rock out on expert level? Does Jabs play guitar better than Clapton? I channel my inner Jabs on this thing and do my best to be a combination of him and Ronnie James Freakin Dio.

There are two versions of this game that I am waiting for:
1. Guitar Hero- Ronnie James Freakin Dio Approved edition. This edition would have every song ever recorded by RJFD with commentary from Chuck Norris. It would also have songs that meet the Freakin Dio standard of approval like The Final Countdown by Europe and I saw red by Warrant.

2. Guitar Hero- Asschowder edition. This would give people the chance to be McBowlerpimp, Jabs, Burns, Kroll or Chad for one point in their sad existence. It would feature songs approved by the band like Heart and Soul by T'Pau and Hangin Tough by NKOTB. It would also feature all songs off the band's "Noise" album. The challenge of the game is playing while women rush the stage and try to tackle you. It' a challenge Asschowder deals with on a nightly basis.

Average tried running a red light yesterday, I pulled him over and put him in jail.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Game!
The graphics are much better for this version (compared to II) - but many of the songs are NOT classics, just recent stuff trying to get some fans.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A lot of fun
Guitar Hero III is a fantastic game and very addicting. And just when you think you have it mastered; go to the next skill level and become humbled again. I would recommend this game to anyone.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - RedOctane's very poor service
Guitar Hero III is THE favorite game in our house - competitions are fun, music selection is great. However, we bought a 2 guitar wired set with the game from a local retail store with an excellent reputation for its return policy and they could not exchange the set because it is sold out nation-wide. Activision will not support this game if you have questions and RedOctane, the maker of the game is the WORST we have ever encountered in customer service. Three emails (the only way you are allowed to contact them) went unanswered and their warranty is horrible. They have terrible ratings (0.5 out of 5.0) on their own website for exchanges and returns and just better than that (1.2 out of 5.0) for their warranty policy. There are hundreds of votes for each score. So, beware if you have a problem with your game or hardware. Try to get the problem resolved right away (and be relentless because they will not return your emails) or you will be stuck with an extra piece of plastic cluttering your family room.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome Game............Just dont go wireless
The game is amazingly addictive. I bought it for my son; played with him once then couldn't put it down. I was hooked on "doing better the next time". It is challenging and fun. The wireless controller is disappointing though. When first open, it was my sons favorite controller to use. Then, the problems started. The keys wouldn't register that the were depressed, they often stick as well. Sometimes pushing on the neck to tighten the connection would help with the first problem. It is now sitting in the corner collecting dust because its more trouble than fun. We are off rocking with our wired controllers and very happy with the purchase.
