While most games do not utilize the controller axis, i find rumble to be a better feature than tilting. I find it awkward to tilt the controller but I love the playstation controller design since the dual shock 1 days.

Sony really should have taken a look at how well the Xbox 360 controller triggers work. Usually in any racing game, you will want to use the triggers for gas & brake, but these will have your hands cramping up after a while, they are just oddly shaped and awkward to use.

Spend the extra $$ to get a dualshock, these controllers are JUNK! Lightweight and very flimsy. I dropped mine off the couch and it didn't work anymore. I didn't even get to throw it before i had to get a new one! Why are controllers getting more and more expensive and more and more delicate?? Give me an old NES controller that can be dropped off a building and still work and I would be happy.

After using the XBOX 360 controller, this one takes some getting use to. It is alright, but lack of rumble hurts.

I was so happy to discover that the PS3 controller has no Rumble feature. Even better the Sixaxis is much smaller and lighter than other controllers because it doesn't have the weights and motor that the Rumble feature requires. Finally, the Sixaxis battery lasts longer without vibration.
Now that the Dual Shock 3 has been released and Amazon has dropped the price of the Sixaxis I am buying the spare controller as I fear Sony will stop selling it in favor of the Dual Shock 3. I'm actually surprised at the number of people who are Happy with the Dual Shock 3 at that price. But to each their own. At least for now I have the controller I prefer, at a price that Dual Shock 3 owners can only dream about.
