I bought this wheel primarily for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and that is what I have used it with. It's my first videogame wheel and as such an expert on sim games and wheels probably shouldn't listen to me too much. But I must say the experience is absolutely, absolutely incredible!

The setup was fairly easy, but before you get it think about how it is going to be set up. Right now I am using a TV tray as a hack but I bought a more suitable solution and am waiting for it. Build quality of the components are excellent, I wish the shifter was a bit tighter but I have not gone into detail with "H" mode, sequential works fine.

Anyway, onto the usage. With the wheel, you can feel the road, you can make adjustments, its easier to fully analyze the race conditions and adjust as necessary. The force feedback is absolutely phenomenal, somebody in another review who described it as a "3d matrix" of effects has it spot on, you really feel all the subtle effects going on. It's incredible. For example, while racing as a Suzuki Cappucino (a small kei car which is a personal favorite of GT's producer), I was able to feel when the car was starting to understeer, start to get a bit squirrely and adjust. These sorts of things are just so much harder to pick up on with a gamepad.

It's hard to describe, but with the wheel and the more advanced physics of GT5P (playing it on pro with all assists turned off and sequential shifting, I don't have good access to the clutch with my setup), the game feels "right". Its more fun just driving around the track trying to improve times than ever before. This has been literally some of the most fun gaming I have ever had and I have been playing games for a loooong time, way too long.

If you like racing games, and you like simulations, you really owe it to yourself to buy a wheel and the G25 is an excellent choice.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - great wheel for the price
Pros: Great force feedback, nice pedals, 6-speed shifter + clutch pedal for heel-toeing

Cons: Shifter has no resistance; feels very fake and toy-like. Wheel is a little bit smaller than i expected, but not a big deal

Overall, this wheel is awesome. It makes driving games actually fun to play rather than a chore to learn how to control a car with a tiny joystick. As far as I know, the only way to get a better wheel is to drop over $1000 on an ECCI wheel.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - the last wheel you will buy for PC gaming
I use this wheel for several racing simulators including GTR, GTR2, GT Legends, R-Factor, Toca2, Richard Burns Rally, Dirt, and a few more. the wheel comes with software that lets you tune it to exact specifications before gameplay, including deadzones, sensitivities, wheel lock, force feedback strength and more. The wheel itself is leather wrapped over brushed steel which is very attractive and realistic. there are 2 red pushbuttons on the wheel itself, which i think are the same buttons that come on a real Momo wheel. the padel shifters are also brushed steel and have a very realistic feel to them when shifting. the pedals are brushed steel as well, they depress super smoothly which gives a very precise feel. the brake is realistically more firm than the throttle or clutch pedals. the gear shift knob is a leather wrapped ball with a plastic top with H-pattern. unfortunatly the shifter feels a bit sloppy when using the 6spd gearbox mode, its not as tight as a real gearbox would be. but when in sequential mode the shifts feel very smooth. there are buttons galore including 4 top buttons in a diamond pattern, a D-pad, and 4 buttons in sequence below the D-pad, which makes for 14 programmable buttons total for the wheel and shifter.

this wheel is the night and day difference for gameplay on racing simulators. old games you own will be reborn when you start using this wheel. its precision allows for smooth heal-toe shifting, and the forcefeedback lets you know exactly when your tires are slipping. understeer and oversteer are completely tuneable now that you can feel what your car is really doing, no more guesswork.

the one negative i have is that there are wires everywhere. one for power source, gearbox, pedals, and usb cord. i would be absolutely blown away if this wheel used wireless technology instead

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I would like to know whether the Logitech G25 Racing Wheel
I would like to know whether the Logitech G25 Racing Wheel

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best wheel
This is the best wheel I've used. Its really nice. If your looking for a wheel you should really consisder this one. I use it for my PS3 and it works perfectly. The only downside is that it doesnt have a PS button so you will need your controller to exit the game or turn off your PS3. I would also suggest you dont buy it from Tigerdirect or Compusa. Its where I got mine and it was used. I have read many reviews saying the wheel in bad shape but I just bought it from them anyways. Overall this is the best wheel, just buy it from a trusted seller.
