I bought my G25 in February 08 and have been using it very frequently since then. The games I play with the G25 are GTR2, RACE 07, Live for Speed, and most recently Gran Turismo 5 Prologue on the PS3.
The wheel itself is great, and although it only has four buttons (including the paddle shifters) there are a lot of buttons on the shifter.
The pedals are equally solid. Some reviewers have commented that the brakes are not realistic. The simple fact is that threshold braking is always going to be harder because you're not in a real car. There's no g-force to give you a sense of how hard you're braking. There's no "feel". For what it is, the brake pedal provides great resistance so threshold braking is as realistic as it can get. The clutch requires minimal effort and is very short. You won't confuse it with a real car's clutch. When properly supported, it's very realistic. You obviously can't feel it bite, but in Live For Speed it's easy to hold the car on a hill using the clutch (although why you would do this is beyond me). It's not an on-off switch. Unfortunately Live For Speed is the only game with proper clutch support that I have played. Gran Turismo is the worst, with it being very much on/off.
Compared to a real car pedal placement is a bit lousy for heel and toeing because the accelerator is close to the brake pedal even though it's spaced farther than the brake pedal is to the clutch. Still, you get used to it and once you know where to place your foot it's as easy as it is in a real car.
The real issue comes with the shifter. Very minimal effort is required to shift, and combined with very short throws means it feels toy-like. It can be flicked into place with a finger. It doesn't feel satisfying when the gears slot into place. Still, it works and is apparently quite durable even though it feels flimsy. It still works even though I get a bit "spirited" with it when I'm immerssed in a race. Still, this is nit-picking to be honest. I have to mention that it's poorly made, but I wouldn't return it for my money if given the chance. The bottom line is that when driving I enjoy myself much more than I did with paddles and auto-clutch.
This might seem like a lot of money for a wheel, but when you consider what you get when you pay for your money compared to other wheels it's a great product. The force feedback is excellent, the wheel itself is nice and large with 900 degrees of rotation (2.5 turns lock to lock), the paddles are more solid than on some cars, and the pedals are the best there is. The six speed shifter isn't really a big deal.

The G25 is my very first video game wheel and I have been playing driving gameS for many years. Needless to say the transition was uneasy. After a few minutes of using it, I was ready to return it and never have another steering wheel but I gave it a chance and it was well worth it. Once you get used to it, it is very nice with many features that other wheels don't have. First and foremost the clutch, really puts you in the driver seat. You can definitely stall the car if you're not good at it. So if it is your case and you're not so attracted to this feature then go for the DFGT or other wheel with just brake and accelerator. The option of switching between H-shift or inline is neat and you can also use paddle shifting for F1 cars and newer japanese cars. This option allows you to shift through all the gears, 7/8 for some cars, which is a remedy to the only 5 speeds/reverse with the H-shifter. The pedals are very nice, sturdy and solid, made out of steel, no plastic in here!!!. The steering wheel has a good size, also made out of steel and is wrapped in leather all-around. Equipped with all the buttons you need for PS2 or PS3. It has attaching clips on the steering wheel and shifter, which is also wrapped in leather.
Overall, excellent quality, really nice finish and really does its jobs. Prepare for sore arms and shoulders if you use the force feedback option, which goes from 1 to 5. It auto calibrates when you turn on your game system and when you start a game. Compatible with many driving games for PS2 and PS3. Would recommend an evolution playseat or Obutto to complement it. No complaints and definitely no regrets.

Having owned a cheap MadCatz wheel for the older Xbox, it was time for me to try this top of the line G25. Love Logitech products, so I couldn't see why this one couldn't be good...
Having played GTR2, rFactor for a bunch of days, all I can say is AMAZING. The clutch and the force-feedback is really great. The main reason why I bought this wheel is because of the clutch, and the 6-speed H-shift pattern.... makes driving a true pleasure, and the games that require a clutch that make full and serious use of the G25, makes driving really exciting and immersive.
The quality of the wheels is top notch, having owned some Momo wheels in real cars (Like a Subaru) ... this one feels like the real thing.
Great construction quality. Clamps down to desk solidly, and pedals have grip on hardwood surfaces. Haven't tried it on carpet.
For a true driving simulator, don't miss on this wheel. You gotta have it to use the 6-speed manual and clutch, though, otherwise, you might as well get the other cheaper wheel.

highly recommended. i had the driving force pro before this, it worked well but finally wore out after 2 years. this unit feels much more solid and the shifter/clutch setup takes some getting used to but once you get thye hang of it it makes gameplay that much more realistic.
