I really like my PSP, but there just are not very many good games out there for it YET. I have 6 games, but only 2 stand out as any good and have replay value...this is one of them. Next to Daxter, this game is one of my favorites. I am on my way through it a second time...where I think each section is harder than the first time through, but your weapons also get better too, as well as a new one that you cannot get the first time thru! The game is similar in many ways to the PS2 versions of Ratchet & Clank, but some diehard fans may not agree. There are great weapons and worlds and creatures to conquer, and a fun story line. You also get to be a giant flying clank! The extra games are fun, as you toss mini clanks and fight robots and figure out puzzles etc. The game is shorter, but it IS a portable game after all. I thought it was fun, and I am enjoying the second time through. I am hoping for more games to be released like this one!

I am a huge fan of previous ratchet and clank games for the ps2. I was skeptical since it was a new company developing it and it made a jump to the psp. However, I read some great reviews so I decided to just buy the game new a few days after it came out. This is rare for me. I usually wait to see if I can get a game for cheap used. Well, I regretted wasting $40 on this. The single player game was fun, but it ended way too quickly. It will only take you about 8 hours to beat. If you are looking for multiplayer fun, look somewhere else. It is only up to 4 players, and there are only 4 maps. Also, the whole game just doesnt have that great ratchet and clank feel. You can tell it's developed by someone other than insomniac. In the end it's a waste of $40.

My 11 yr old LOVES this game. She said this is the best game for the PSP that she's ever played. Highly recommended from this dad!

With the few PSP games out that are actually worth playing, it's
nice to see a well rounded game like Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters. Many seasoned players recognize small flaws in Size Matters, such as camera views and character controls, that did not appear in PS2 Ratchet games. Even though there are some flaws, I strongly feel the game has carried over most of the famous ratchet elements (and then some) very well to the new platform. The weapons in Size Matters keep true to the series, with a unique variety, including an electric rocket launcher, a force field, a flame thrower, and a genetic mutator that turns enemies to cows (the mootator). The game also incorporates possible modifications to the weapons, and a "titan" version of the weapons - replay the game to receive stronger versions. Additionally, a new element, customizable armor, has been introduced. Mini games range from flying clank through space, to playing in intergalactic robot soccer championships, to racing in a series of "hoverboard" courses. The game's levels do become repetitive, but are generally quite long, and the landscape is very rich, so there is a lot to work with. And now, the ratings...
Story Plot ~ 9.2
Graphics Quality ~ 9.3
Controls ~ 7.9
Sound Quality ~ 7.5
Replay Value ~ 7.6
Average Rating ~ 8.3
...Overall a good transition from platforms, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters sets a high standard for future PSP games, and further proves the capability of the Ratchet & Clank creators. A game worthy of any PSP owner's collection.

This game is amazing. It is the first game I got and it's just like ps2 Ratchets. You have the abilities to combine armor sets to have new abilities. You can add mods to your weapons (which there are 15) and fully upgrade them. Each weapon is totally unique from other weapons. Extraordinary game.
