I received the converter and it certainly functioned as I would have thought it would. It allowed me to use a playstation controller with my computer. I mainly use this converter for ddr pads. While I couldn't get the up select start or whatever code it is to work (maybe I just wasn't pressing the right buttons, you know mapping issues and all). My pads are wired in such a way that the buttons can be remapped by hardware means using simple connectors into a control box. I simply rewired my left and up arrows to work as button 1 and 2. The mapping doesn't mind in stepmania and I'm all the happier.
Product is great. Does what it should. May or may not work in stepmania for you without some extra work.

I bought two of these since they are so cheap mainly to play emulator(snes, arcade, etc.) on my PC. Installing was easy as in just plugging it and assigning key buttons to the game. Works just like a regular PC controller. I used two of these at the time and it actually recognize it as 4 player port.

This product not only did exactly what it said it would do, but it did it at a cheap price.
Thanks.

For the money, this product is pretty decent. I bought a Logitech Wireless Controller to go with it, and the analog sticks didn't work. I used a Sony PS2 Dualshock controller, and everything works fine. I'm not really sure what the difference with the controllers is (seeing as the Logitech is endorsed by PS2 for use with the console, it should work with the converter too, right?), but there seems to be some difference between the two.
The disc that comes with the converter is kind of confusing, I almost didn't think the driver had installed. If you go to the company's website, it's... well, a joke. I'm not even sure if there's any customer support whatsoever.
The converter does everything it says it will do, it converts your PS2 controller for use with PC games. So if you're looking for a PS2 to PC converter and you don't have a lot of money to spend, I would recommend this.
