When I first got this game, I didn't know what to expect. But now I love the game. There are so many different weapons to use at your disposal. The story of the Rise of the Empire is amazing and explains the Republic's side of the story of when they turned from the Republic into the Empire. This game has always been my escape tube from boredom. Plus, there's no blood. You can also play as classic heroes and villains of the Star Wars story and fight in space battles in space ships from all sides in the classic Star Wars story. This is one of the top shooting games in the world! I highly suggest it.

I bought this game at EB Games, game store with a pre order when it first came out because I loved the first Battlefront so much. I thought I would share my opinion of the game so you too can enjoy the hours of fun it offers. First of all, if you've played the first game and even partially enjoyed it, this is a must have! It offers the same great gameplay with better mechanics when it comes to the physics of the game and also the graphics look better. Your soldier runs more fluidly and weapons are upgraded. And there are two very important upgrades. Heroes and Space Battles! You can now play as all of your favorite Star Wars chacters from Han Solo to Darth Maul. I was extremely impressed with the game overall because it did not mess with the great formula that battlefront began, with large scale epic battles. Also, without changing the game play, they improved it in so many ways and added many more maps. I played this game for about 5 hours a night every night for about a month before I got tired of it. And yes, you can get tired of it because you only have so many levels and the elite difficulty is not difficult. Multiplayer is fun, but with co-op, it is way too easy and if you pit your armies against each other, there is the inevitable throwing the controller down because you died for no reason. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 in fun is its limited replayability in comparison to games like Final Fantasy and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. For all shooters out there, get this game. It is without a doubt the best two player shooting game for the PS2.

The game is a little overwhelming at first but has some great features. During some of the invasion sequences its almost impossible not to get killed because of the amount of gunfire around you. A little less shootout and maybe a little more stealth woulld have been nice. Saving the game is a pain in the butt,it asks you 6 times if you want to save,Duh! Overall its alot of fun and if you can get it for a good price definetly worth having!

..it can be utter chaos at times!! I guess I'm spoiled by Navy Seals where you are in control of your team and can meticulously call the shots. In this game, you are on your own. Your squads don't really do much for you other than get in your way. They get killed so easily. So, it's safe to say that the A.I. for your team is not all that great.
What happened with the squad-based commands where you can tell your team to defend, attack, get in, etc. I think they allow that in the first battle front.
I love the fact that you can pilot a ship!!! That's great.
When I play the game, I try to rely on my men to help out. Now, I just do it myself and I get so much further.

Hello There I'm Some 10 Year Old, And This Is My First Un-LEGO Star Wars Game. Oh! Just to let you know that I DON'T own Star Wars BattleFront I.
Now on to my review. How to describe this is simply: A Star Wars Multi-War
Game In which you play in the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War Era's. And Fight As The: C.I.S, Republic, Rebel Alliance, Or Galactic Empire. In your favorite place's in the movies. Now New features (as i've heard) are:
Space Combat: Now What Would a Star Wars Game Be Without Space Combat!?
Jedi and Sith Playable: This is AWESOME as I always wanted to play as REALISTIC Luke Skywalker or Count Dooku.
Engineer+Special Classes Playable: Now These Are Darn Good People Here.
Revenge Of The Sith Area's Playable: Yep Thats Right New Area's.
Objective Based Story-Mode: Finnaly MISSIONS not Mildless Fighting
Adjustable Troop Setting: You Can actualy adjust Amount of troops So you can have a Minor Conflict or Epic Battle.
Sorry No Cons PERSONELY.... Bye Bye Peace OUT!
