Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A lot of fun...
I am typically a PC gamer and have had trouble, in the past, playing FPS games on a console game controller. This game has been such a blast to play with my son in splitscreen mode that I was able to work out my game controller issues fairly quickly and am now a lot better at moving and shooting at the same time using my left thumb to aim the gun. I like the way the training built up the complexity of the missions and I like how the individual missions have intermediate goals you can attain without having to solve the whole level at once. I also like the combination of infantry combat play and combat flying in some of the missions. I am enjoying it quite a bit!!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Star Wars Battlefront II is way better then Battlefront 1. The gameplay is the biggest hit. The shooting isn't as good as Halos shooting, but the shooting is still awesome. In addition, you can zoom in with all guns now making the game much easier. The jedi modes are also fun. If you get boared of keep getting points to unlock jedis, then just go to Mos Eisly Assualt. That levels awesome. The graphics are good but the character models are bad looking. The sound is incredible. The sound of blasters, lightsabers, voiceacting, and music help bring the Star Wars feel to life. However I hate the annoying commander who keeps saying, "We've captured a command post." That guy is so annoying. The game is long and the menus are good as well. All in all, Battlefront II is a great game. Buy it!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - When will we see Battlefront 3?
Battlefront's 1 & 2 are two of our most heavily played PS2 games. I would even have to credit the first one for enlightening my son on the whole Star Wars universe and just how cool it could all be. Both games let you step into battle with the "grunts" who never seemed to get enough screen time in the movies for my liking. And where else can you be engaged in face-to-face combat with blasters, then jump into an X-Wing and join a dog fight?

Not to mention the fact that the games offer single player, splitscreen co-op, and on-line options. I have become so frustrated with the current trend towards single player/on-line only!!!! Did everyone suddenly start purchasing a separate game system for each member of the family so they can play on-line together?

Therefore all the more reason for a third installment using the next generation systems. Battlefront 3 on the PS3 system would have amazing possiblities. Imagine all the best features from the first two versions combined with near photo-real graphics, multiple maps for all planets, more planets, swappable weapons... How about including some of the ships we have yet to see in a Battlefront game like B-Wings or the Falcon or the numerous TIE encarnations? Is it possible to create downloads for skins on a PS3 or X-Box 360 game? If so how about new paint jobs, uniforms and armor?

If they aren't working on this, they really should be.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - One of the best Star Wars games ever made
Star Wars: Battlefront II takes everything that the first Battlefront game set up and knocks it out of the park. Addictive, death match style gameplay is what's on the menu with Battlefront II, as you choose a side and battle it out over expansive environments in the Star Wars universe, including Hoth, the Daggobbah System, Naboo, the Death Star, and more. The many modes include squad based battles and space combat, as well as goal-oriented missions and more besides. After completing certain objectives during a mission, you'll be able to play as classic Star Wars characters like Luke, Obi-Wan, Darth Vader, Yoda, and more besides. What really makes Battlefront II all the more fun is the online multiplayer and deathmatch features, which are reason enough to pick up Battlefront II. The game looks great and the controls are tight, while the game as a whole wonderfully captures the feel and tone of the Star Wars universe. All in all, Battlefront II is still worth owning for any and every gamer who likes deathmatch style gameplay, and for Star Wars fans, picking this up is a no-brainer.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - SWBF2
I love this game. I bought the Play Station 2 version for my brothe-in law, but I have it for XBOX 360, and I love it. Playing in "Instant Action" mode is great for getting out stress. You can play alone or with others and play all of the great heros of the movies. My favorites are Darth Maul and Han Solo. Great for any game and Star Wars enthusiast!
