Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - An Amazing Game
I got this game for Christmas last year, and I'm still playing it. With all the awesome mini-games, sweet combo attacks, intense boss battle, and new worlds to discover, who says that it should be horrible? The graphics are hot, the gameplay is superb, and it functions so well you could be inside the game. I highly recommend this game to all gamers to like magic, Disney, action, and especially RPG's.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Boring and Confusing.
I found this game just god-awful. Interminable loading. Boring story. The first boss battle was bloody confusing. I played it once and will probably never touch it again. I guess you have to be a little kid who's into this type of game to enjoy it.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Fun, neat, but painfully easy and heavy on cut scenes
I really enjoyed KH1, and was excited when KH2 finally dropped in price to $20 (yeah, I'm cheap). I felt KH1 nicely mixed cut scenes with action and somewhat challenging gameplay (although not overly difficult). KH2 is almost an exact clone of KH1 except combat offers a few new twists with reaction commands. The addition of limits and other special attacks are neat, but ultimately pointless. The game can be easily beaten without them.

The main difference between KH2 and KH1 are the cut scenes. KH2 has hours upon hours of cut scenes - much more than KH1. While I thoroughly enjoyed the scenes in KH1, I feel they are way overblown in KH2 and take up too much of the game. Whereas KH1 had some exploring and puzzles (although minor), KH2 basically features you running from cut scene to cut scene. For example, if you land in Halloween Town you watch a 5 minute cut scene, then you play the game for 4-5 minutes killing Heartless, proceed to the next screen and get a 3 minute cut scene, then fight a couple heartless for 4-5 minutes, then watch a cut scene. This repeats 3-4 times and then you fight a boss that might take 10 minutes.

If you like the cut scenes and are not so much into the gameplay, you will love this game. But, if you want an RPG that offers any challenge exciting gameplay, you will find KH2 lacking. There are practically no mazes and no chance of getting lost (if you start down a wrong path, KH2 stops you and says "no, we need to go the other way"). As far as difficult enemies or bosses, there are few: I beat it at the highest difficulty level and I think I maybe died 7-8 times.

It is a visual marvel and will take 40 hours or so to beat (of that 40 hours, 25-30 are spent watching cut scenes I think).

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good as the First
My son had played this game before we bought it. He enjoys it as much as the first. Thing I like about it is there's plenty of free play - once you beat the game there's still plenty to do, making it a tad easier on the wallet.
