As a fan of Gran Turismo since it's inception, I would say it keeps getting better. The game is so addictive I have to put a timer on to remind myself to stop playing. The courses are well designed and the graphics awesome. I like the big selection of racers from all over the world. Vrooooooom, over the top!

Gran turismo mode will offer you endless hours of racing and fun. The variety of cars to collect is very amusing and the gameplay is solid. Very fun to race any car. You cant go wrong with GT4 unless you dont like racing games.

The Gran Turismo series is absolutely incredible. I own 1-4, and this is one of my favorites. $20 is a steal; I paid $50 for it when it came out, and I'd pay it again and again as the GT team dishes out more games. Gran Turismo continuously raises the bar and sets a new standard on what a racing simulator should be. The creator of Gran Turismo is a huge fan of photography, so you can also have plenty of fun taking pictures of your cars at about 10 different locations. You pick the camera angle/settings, the car, the location, and if you like what you shot, you can save it to your memory card to show off later. If you're let down at ALL by the content of this game, let's all remember that PlayStation2's capacity is what has limited this game's full potential.
My personal favorite besides GT4 is GT2.

I bought this game for my Grandson's Birthday and from what I hear, it's a big hit! So for Grandma to finally get one right, that must mean the game is pretty good!
