They're nice cards, I never had a problem. Since I had 3 PS2s in my house at the time, we kept mixing up memory cards or my brothers would steal mine... then my boyfriend bought me these and I always had my own memory cards, no one else could say they were theirs or anything else. The only problem I can think of is that they are a little expensive.

My 9 year old daughter loves PS2, so buying the cards were worth the cost.

As you can imagine, having 2 separate cards for saving games and info is perfect!.. by the way, the seller was beyond awesome.. hope you can get yours from the same!!

It's flash memory! Of course it works just fine. Why do we have to spend this kind of money for two 8mb memory cards?? In the world of computers, you can get 512mb for the same cash. It's just SO MUCH GREED it's sickening. Hey Sony, spend the twenty cents per console and give us 128mb of built in memory in the first place!! It's all we'll ever need at home. If we need to bring our saves to a buddy's house, we'll get removable media. (How about a USB port for thumb drives or an SD slot?!?) We understand how you're screwing us and we're angry.

I'm kind of being a little deceptive here... let me explain: I Do know what these game players and memory cards and junk are. I only put a rating here because This is supposed to be a rating system. Anyway, I gave the ratings I did because all the second hand feedback I have is like: "Oooh, they're neat! We just HAVE to have them." I'd be lying if I said I'm rating them from personal experience. What I want here is YOUR experience... or the fruit of your experience. Here goes:
Have pity on me! I'm not a 'gamer'. I couldn't care less about this stuff for myself... BUT, each of my 2 little darlings want this PS2 thing + the 'essential' memory cards to go with them for Christmas. SO... okay, I THINK I've got the PS2 'new version' player all figured out and have decided that's what I am supposed to get, BUT, I have not clue one about WHICH Memory Cards I'm supposed to buy to go with them. Oh, I know... basically, what they are supposed to do... however, I would like to know which of all of them is the MOST memory for the buck. What do you all think?
Since each of my two children get their own player, and their own cards to go with them the ability to tell them apart with color coding is a non-issue. NO WAY am I going to make them 'share'. HUH! I'd rather shoot myself in the foot than take that battle on; after all, I've got to have some shred of sanity left for myself once Christmas is over.
So, I guess what it boils down to, Oh, Wise and insightful Game experts, is just what I said: WHICH CARD SHOULD I BUY? Which one(s) offer the most memory for the buck, and WHICH is the best performing product? Tell me what you all think, okay? Please... Help... the mind you save could be my own... God will reward you for this! And I thank you with all my heart! And all you guys, I pray that You have a Merry Gol-Durn Christmas! ;o)
