Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - YAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd want to play this mario game more than any other. It's very fun! I think it's funny to pull off birdo's bow. The only disadvantage is that it's very hard at times. The last boss doesn't make sense. His name is toad, and he has to be fed vegetables to be beaten. The shy guys are fun when they're huge, and my favorite boss is the giant fireball, fry guy. If you need a tip, the best character is peach, because of her great special jump and fast movement. I THINK YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY GET THIS GAME!!!!!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Super Mario Advance
Another great game with Mario,Luigi,Peach, and Toad.

I rate video games useing a scale of 1 to 5. 1 being the worst and 5 being the best.

Graphics-5/5
The Grpahics for Super Mario Advance are surberb! All the characters are clear and easy to see.

Sound-3/5
The music gets really boreing after awile. Every level is the same music and when your character gets hurt it makes a "oh!" sound that gets old.

Gameplay-5/5
Super Mario Advance will keep you playing for hours. The levels are good lengths and have more enemies in the levels that the nes version.

Grade:B+
This game is a really good game, don't let the B+ grade stop you from getting it. The bad sound hit it really hard.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - The remake of the remake of the remake
Commonly, Nintendo releases a Mario game with each new console (Super Mario Bros. 1 for the NES, MArio World for the SNES, Mario Land for the original GB, Mario 64 for N64), but instead of releasing a "new" Mario game for the GBA, they decided made another remake from an old game (the third)

This game is a remake of the SNES version that came with the "Super Mario all Stars", this was the remake of the original "Super Mario Bros. 2" for the NES, and that was the remake of "Doki Doki Panic", that was only released in japan, they just added the Mario characters and violá! Super Mario Bros 2.

The japanese Super Mario Bros 2 was very similar to SMB1 (in graphics and sound) but one of the hardest mario games outthere (maybe the hardest of all)... i don't know if that game was "to difficult" for america, or maybe because it used a peripheral that never arrive here (Famicom Disk System), but it never arrived for the old NES, instead of that, Nintendo of america took Doki Doki and made some changes here and there and released the new game as SMB2 (in japan, this game was released 4 years later with the name "Super Mario USA").

Don't get me wrong, the original SMB2 is a good game in the tradition of the Mario franchise (not as good as SMB3, but certainly far superior to Doki Doki), and the SNES remake was very faithful to the original; i mean, the game is fun, but the GBA version is VERY modified from the original SMB2 (and the added voices are anoying) but the challenge is almost the same than the original, so, i only recomend this game if, and only if, you lived in a cave the last two decades and NEVER played this game, but i doubt it so much.

I recommend Super MArio advance 3 instead of this game (is almost a carbon copy to the original Yoshi's island, and less known than SMB2, so maybe a lot of people never have played it), or maybe SM Advance 4 (SMB3) that is a much better game than this.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - O.K game
This game was okay but was a little hard at times. Sometimes when you would jump or run on to something it seemed you were on ice. This is a good game for Mario Fans, But I think that the Mario advance 2 and 3 are better.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - O.K.
This game was pretty good, but super mario advanced 2&3 definately surpass it. I do recomend it though.
