Rating: - Datel, you've done it again!
Action Replay PSP is a powerful tool. Currently lacking a few big titles on it's codelist, it's still amazing.
It formats your battery, rather than relying on a UMD, and comes with a dedicated 1GB memory stick. With these two enhancements, there's no need for me to carry around extra tools and such, which I must still do for my DS. Action Replay boots up whenever you reboot your PSP, but you can also turn it off as well.
The best feature, and the thing that earns it five stars, is the ability to turn codes on and off in game by pressing the R and Home buttons simultaneously. This is great, because previously, I've had to save and reboot my cheatdevices and games just to swap out one code; thjis new feature is a breeze, and makes things very easy.
Way to go Datel! You keep going in this direction, and Gameshark will be out of business before you know it!
Rating: - A Better Way To Cheat PSP
When it has came to the Action Replay cheat enhancers, they've shown a lot of promise for previous generation systems like the Playstation 2, Nintendo Gamecube and recently as a better version for the Nintendo DS. But, when it actually came down to the Sony PSP, they really had one that felt more like it was where you had everything, but no point to master the game. The previous version showed to be more of a dissapointment for those who really wanted to cheat PSP. Still, that has not stopped Datel from creating a better Action Replay for the Sony PSP, and this time it has shown to be more of a enhancer for the game, than just a cheat saver.
The Action Replay PSP 1GB for the Sony PSP, is what hard core cheaters have waited for the Sony PSP for the past several years. Here, you can actually cheat your way through your favorite Sony PSP games easier, and better than before. All you need to do, is simply plug in the code enhancer and install the software to your computer, and choose whatever codes you need to master your way to the top. It works great on classics like Lumines, Daxter, Madden '09, Need For Speed: Most Wanted 5-1-0, and God Of War: Chains Of Olympus. Not only can you install great codes through the computer, but you can also do it via Wi-Fi routers as well, which makes it simplier to install. The sadness though is that it currently is only available through the Datel website only, which is unfortunately the only place you can get the replay and cheat your way through the game. Not only that, the second disadvantage is that you can't manually install your codes without the internet connection. Hopefully, like what Datel made for the Action Replay for the Nintendo DS, they'll find a way for PSP gamers to install the codes manually, without a internet hookup.
All in all, the newly made Action Replay PSP is a real treat die hard PSP cheaters had waited for the past several years. It really works well and is a great way to break through even the heardest titles. At around $40, it really has shown to be well worth the wait. Now, all you can do is cheat, and be a PSP legend.
