This is an attractive product that works as advertised. While it took a while trying to match an older generation video ipod to the correct base adapter (turned out no adapter was needed), once seated the clock and audio functions worked flawlessly. Especially like the included remote for controlling the various functions.

This is a very nice alarm clock/dock and works great with my iPhone 3G. To awake to music, you simply create a playlist on your iPhone/iPod titled "Alarm 1" or "Alarm 2" and the clock wakes you to whatever music is located in those play lists. If you don't create a play list, the system picks a song randomly from your entire collection.

I won't discuss the motion-sensitive controls or other features, since the product description gives plenty of details.

On the downside for the device, the LCD display is a bit small for those of us who are near-sighted. It is difficult to see the display at night. Complicating the matter, the display is located on the right side (facing the clock) which means that the display is located near the wall on my side of the bed. If the LCD was located in the middle of the device, it would be much easier to see regardless of which side your night-stand is located.

I do like the fact that the iPhone/iPod is not perched above the device, but basically protected in a slot so you won't hit the iPhone/iPod when you are flailing around in the morning.

The sound of the device is good, but not great. Overall it is sufficient for a clock radio, but not if you are looking for higher quality sound.

My wife got me the Logitech Pure-Fi for Christmas and I am 99% thrilled. It is fantastic. Sound quality is great, controls are intuitive and easy to use, and the remote has good range. Why the 1% off? Well, it would be the same for all equipment like this - it doesn't hold my iPod or iPhone while they are in their protective cases. That would be expected since there are so many different styles and there is no way Logitech or anyone else could make adapters that would fit every case. Plus, it only took me about 3 minutes to modify one of the adapters they included to fit.

Again, this is a great unit. I can see the clock from across the room but it is no so bright as to keep me up at night. And to be able to have my iPhone right by the bed where I need it but also be able to charge it and listen to it with great sound is awesome. Highly recommended!

I am so pleased with this clock radio! I wanted AM as well as FM, and for it to work with my 3G iPhone, preferably not in airplane mode. It has a nice size clock display, and the brightness can be adjusted. There are 3 presets for radio stations--nice. Two presets for alarm, & each can be set to play an iPhone playlist, AM, FM, or sound a buzzer. The sound is quite good for a unit with such a small footprint, which is another great feature. I love the motion sensor that lights up the top controls. You can wave your hand over the Snooze button area instead of pushing it, lessening the danger of bumping your iPhone or iPod. A small remote is included if you'd rather use it to control the radio. I'm impressed that the package included everything: inserts for docking various sized iPods & iPhone, AM antenna, battery for backup power, and even a small screwdriver for the battery compartment. Finally, the price -- I would have paid twice as much for this unit!
