Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Awesome game... but WOW does it crash a lot.
So, first of all, let me just say that I REALLY love this game. It's a great idea and it's a blast to play. It's really fun to totally customize lobbies, hotel rooms, restaurants, health clubs, bars, etc. I like how you can view the floor of a building from the top, from the perspective of a guest, or isometrically. I love the tycoon aspects of being able to create advertising, making up package deals, setting prices, looking at market research, and so much more. This is a FUN game.

That being said... wow. I've never played a game that crashed so much. Some days I play it and it'll only crash once... some days it crashes all the time. YOU MUST SAVE YOUR GAME CONSTANTLY. For 95% of other games, I would toss it aside and play something else due to all the crashing. But I really, really like it and consider it worth having to save my game every 5 seconds.

It's not perfect in every other way, though. There's no "undo" button when you're building things, and I find that incredibly annoying. It's VERY easy to make a huge modification by accident and then have to spend forever getting whatever you deleted back.

I like how you can create one room's layout and then "stamp" that layout any number of times into the building, but I found myself wanting to use a layout I had created EXCEPT with one attribute modified (usually either placement of the door or type of bed in a hotel room), and there's no way to do that without changing every hotel room in the building with that layout. That bothered me.

The soundtrack is also short, repetitive, and rather obnoxious. I keep my sound off while playing.

Overall, this game is a BLAST... if you have the patience of a saint.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Waste of Money; Very Disappointing!!!!
I bought this and was exicted to get a new pc game. I didn't think to check the OS compatability b/c I figured it would work on my brand new pc. OMG!!! was I upset it truly is a $10 coaster. I have Vista and it will not run constantly crashes before you can even start playing and I am very upset. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! This company should be ashamed of themselves for selling a product that is not compatable with the most up to date OS.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - DO NOT BUY THIS
Just installed this game, thinking I'd get a nice dose of nostalgia mixed in with a pretty solid business sim...only problem is it won't run properly on Windows XP SP3. No sure what the problem is but the tutorial...crashes. Hovering over the toolbar at the bottom left in a random game...crashes.

And don't bother trying to get a patch. This was published by JoWooD, a well-known German publishing house that publishes unfinished games and barely if ever supports them. The German game development model is to churn out a game and move on since patches don't pay the rent. The patch that exists out there on JoWooD's site will make the game 100% unplayable (it keeps saying the wrong disc is in the drive).

I now have a $10 coaster. Thanks JoWooD! Thanks Enlight!
