Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good value for money
This video camera does all that it says, the only thing that is a bit of disappointment is the battery life. It hardly lasts about 60 mins in use. You would definitely need extra battery if you plan to use it for longer recordings.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Hardware lousy software
This is a great camera. It's HD quality is very high and has a vast CCD so even when the camera is moved quickly you get a smooth video with little or no jerkiness. Great color and easy functionality.
The software sucks however. There is really only one good way of getting video off the cam and Once off, it must be converted to anything other then it's native format if you are to do anything with it. I found a AVCHD converter online for about $50 which lets me convert it for my purposes. YouTube, iMovie and Adobe Premier. Each is a separate conversion which requires about 4 min processing for each min of HD video.
That's with my 2.8Ghz QuadCore & 8gb's Ram on Windows Vista 64.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Excellent Camera
After using tape for 2 years, I am thrilled how easy it is to transfer videos from the camera's hard drive to my computer, just drag and drop.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Color was off and quality in less than bright situations not high def
Used over Christmas and watched it together with the family. All the kids marveled at how my 2 year old's Barney doll was red in the video!! Every situation that was less than full bright was totally pixelated. Also, when I zoomed in at the mall, it got totally grainy. I used it to record the kids with Santa and figured why bother buying a photo package, i'll just capture stills from the HD video. Well, it is all unusable pixilated garbage. Every still I captured and every bit of the video totally pixelated in the less than bright conditions. I wouldn't even call the conditions generating the pixelation low light.

Other than that, if it is bright, it works great!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - awesome camera
