Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A game worth Mastering and achieving the highest honor.
I never can get enough of Ninja Gaiden. I had Ninja Gaiden Black from the Xbox and completed everything in that game, and I really mean EVERYTHING.
All difficulty modes to Master Ninja and all missions completing Eternal Legend.
Sigma is a great improvement over Black. Filling in the empty pieces with playing as Rachel and a more clear history of the Ancient Fiends.
Defeated it on MASTER NINJA, wich I find not many in the world have accomplished. Hardest part of this difficulty was geting the last Diety before fighting the final bosses. It took me a great deal of effort fighting against the 2 Ancient fiends back to back. That flying Demon was next but was not as hard.
Adding another weapon was a good idea, the twin swords were hard to controll at first, but it got better as you played on.
Overal graphic improvement was outsanding, especially when you start the story mode. If you played previous Ninja Gaidens you will see the very obvious imrovements made.
All Ninja Gaiden fans need to get this game and achieve the Highest honor of defeating Master Ninja.
A GAME THAT WAS MADE 3 DIFFERENT TIMES IS WORTH GIVING A LOOK. I DON'T KNOW OF ANY OTHER FRANCHISE OTHER THAN STREET FIGHTER TO DO THIS.

Like the other reviewers I think this is a fantastic game!.

The story, graphics, sound, action, weapons, bosses, enemies, everything is just amazing.
But the game is soooooo hard, and frustrating! Bosses that are too powerful, stages that are really, really complicated, enemies like the ghost fishes that are a real pain in the $%&!!!
I got lost a couple of times, and I wasted like 2 hours, I had to look for the right way on the internet.
Maybe, I just suck at video games, but to beat this game I had to give sweat,tears and blood!!

Like one of the other reviewers suggested get a guide or download one thru internet, because you might need it...or not.

Buy this game, one of the best games I have ever played...and good luck, you will need it.

Ninja Gaiden is a no-brainer if you want the best! It simply does not get better than Team Ninja's true masterpiece! This game makes you want to play and get better. I've never played a more rewarding game! I've played through Ninja Gaiden more times than I can remember, and I still love it!

This game has it all!! - Music, graphics, story, characters, depth, and that extra special something that people will remember for many, many years to come. You know that feeling you get when you love something, and hope that others will love it the same way, even if they don't tell anyone?? This game does that, and a WHOLE LOT MORE!

I promise you will not be disappointed!!! 5 stars, 10 out of 10, 2 thumbs up, etc.

A TRUE masterpiece..... nuff said!!

Before this game was release, ps3 was lacking title; only great game was the resistance that's about it, but Ninja Gaiden Sigma which is a improve verson of the xbox version know was the best action game that system at that time. Was instant hit in ps3. This was also one of vew few game support in 1080p. Tecmo has spend great deal of time transfer this game from 480p (xbox) to 1080p (ps3) Story is not the greatest or good but is that gameplay that sell and do very well here. Each weapon are unique and has tons of combine moves more than your typical fighting game. The graphic is very well done especially in the First stage, it does get repeated often in stags, monster and even boss. But not necessary a bad thing. However the game might be tough especially if you don't look for gameguide or help. Because can't be frusted due to lack of guide where to go and maps is map not showing your current location. Save game and shop can be a issue in some stage, someway very similar to devil may cry.

For 29.99 you can't go wrong with it, by far the best game for that price tag along with resistance.

You have to be a true gamer to appreciate this game. If you like kick-butt graphics, a smart storyline, killer moves and enjoy solving puzzles, you will simply love this game. You will have to invest some time, but it is worth every minute. $29.99 is giving this game away, it's worth so much more.
