Rating: - a lot better that the stratocaster!!!!
The first thing i noticed when i got this guitar was the strum bar. It feels and sound cheap, but other that that, all the other features of the guitar work really great!! The buttons feel so much more comfortable that the stratocaster, and the 2nd set of frets (bottom of neck) actually works with the solos in rock band (yes, rockband actually works with it)!! The sound effect changer works too, and the whammy bar feels pretty comfortable. In fact, after playing with the guitar for a while, i almost immediately got used to it. I'm sure anyone would eventually get used the strum bar in my opinion. I mean, it's better to have some sound rather than no sound at all. I hated how the stratocaster had no sound when you strum the strum bar, and had flat buttons, so you'd easily loose your place. With the rock zero guitar, all those problems are canceled out. It's just like a regular guitar hero guitar, except with more buttons and a sound effect changer, plus it works with rock band and guitar hero games(1,2, & 3, and maybe even the guitar hero games to come)!! The only negative feature about it is the strum bar, which in my mind is hardly an issue at all. It's also wireless, so no cords get in the way of your playing. I'd recommend this guitar to anyone, and not just for a replacement guitar for the stratocaster, but simply to use it for any guitar hero action.
