Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Do you have what it takes to be a "Five-Star" chef? Hell's Kitchen is a TV phenomenon featuring world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay putting aspiring chefs through rigorous culinary tests. The game recreates the show's pressure-cooker atmosphere as you complete a series of kitchen and dining room challenges. Fulfilling an order requires three important phases - preparation, cooking and service, all of which you must master to progress. Prepare ingredients, cook them to the correct quality and get food out of the kitchen on time. Each complete meal is scored by Chef Gordon Ramsay to make the kitchen boot camp experience come alive.

Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A good game simulation of TV show
If you are a fan of the TV show, then this game is for you. It is entertaining-yet does not scream FUN like a typical arcade game does. It can be challenging to keep the fast pace, but is addictive in its power to try your skill. There are more challenging games out there, more educational games, but of the 10 DS games I own, this is in the top 3.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Turn down the sound
Hell's Kitchen is a lot of fun probably more for adults (I'm 60!) The sound drives me nuts though so I turn it down. With the sound up I make more mistakes, probably just like his real chefs do. The only negative is that it is a bit difficult to see some of the little "clues". I bought another for a 35 year old!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Not bad
This is a fun game. Its kinda short, though. I enjoyed playing it. Probably not worth $30, though.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Great Game That's Too Short
This game is based on Gordon Ramsey's TV show Hell's Kitchen, and plays like Diner Dash or Cake Mania, plus getting screamed at by Ramsey.

The gameplay is a lot of fun, as you start by juggling the needs of the front of the house (dining room) with the back of the house (kitchen). You have to seat customers, take their orders, cook their food without burning it, and clear their tables in a timely fashion. Ramsey oversees you, yelling what you need to do.

The game also includes recipes by Ramsey himself, from appetizers to entrees to desserts. Some seem interesting and simple enough for amateurs like myself to throw together.

The game is great fun while it lasts, but as suggested by other reviewers, it doesn't last very long. I finished it in a few days, and there is little replay value once you complete it.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Short but sweet
The game was good but I beat it in 2 days... Not worth $30 maybe $19...
