Rating: - Nerf Armor
This is an awesome product! It's light, and really cushions a DS. It's thicker than you would think, but it actually makes it a little easier to hang on to the DS when you play. I bought it for my son, and he really loves it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
Rating: - Heavy but protects
I purchased 2 nerf DS lite armors for my kids Nintendo DSs. They are wonderful if you drop your ds... or feel like you might lose it. It does make the game unit thicker and heaver. My 6 year old thought it was too big...my 12 year old adopted it for his. My 9 year old loves it. The armor fits tight and is not to be confuse with a carring case. It is a sheild. We really like ours... it might make playing more difficult for little fingers though.

This is a cool little addition to any DS in my opinion, but my 7 year old wanted it off after 1 day. He wanted the shiny exterior of his DS to show, so I took it off because he couldn't do it by himself. So while I think it was a good idea, he didn't care for it. After his DS gets scratched up and dropped a couple times, he might go back to it.

I bought three of these for my all three of my son's nintendo ds's. We have tried other cases that either didn't fit right or some of the port's were not exposed. Needless to say, they were constantly taking them off. This is the perfect case for your DS. All the ports are exposed and once this case is on, it is very difficult to get off. For me, with three young son's, this is a good thing. The only problem with it is that my oldest son likes to play guitar hero and for this game the case needs to come off for the hand grip. I can't get the case off for him to play this game. Still for me, not being able to play ONE game is worth having the DS protected. We have already had to send two systems away for repair because of drops and we replaced one altogether. This is the strongest case out there and the boys like the "nerf" feel of it. They say it is very comfortable. If you have young children this is a MUST!!! I am very happy with this product!

I can't recommend this product enough.
Last month my eight year old dropped his DS on our hardwood floor and broke it. So when he received another from his Aunt & Uncle for Christmas I purchased the Nerf Armor for it and I have to say that this is one of the best buys that I've made in a long time. Because wouldn't you know it, he dropped the DS again tonight. Only this time thanks to the Nerf Armor it still works! As for having a hard time taking it out of the case, well that's not even an option because there is no way that I'll ever let him remove it!
