Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - more song titles, still singstar (not as good as karaoke revolution)
I have to say I have several of the Singstar karaoke games for PS2 and I also have several of the Karaoke Revolution games. The only things that I like more about Singstar than KR is that Singstar comes out with more games (additional songs) more often than KR and it's cool to watch the music videos while you sing on Singstar. But when it comes to the features and ease of following the lyrics, etc. Karaoke Revolution is WAY better for many reasons (I'll only list a couple here):
1 - the words come across the screen at a consistent pace but are spaced based on how quickly or slowly you have to say them, unlike Singstar that jumps from line to line and you can't really tell how quickly it expects you to go through certain lyrics and you might not have much time to see what's coming next and the 'notes' dont' line up vertically with the words so it's hard to know when to start each word
2 - the duet mode in karaoke revolution is handled like the actual duet if the song was a duet. duet mode in singstar just means one person sings some lines and another sings the other lines, it doesn't do a good job of combining harmony in parts where both singers are singing
3 - the karaoke revolution series also has a lot more configurability to set the level of music, background noise, your own vocals, etc.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great selection of songs
I am a big fan of Karaoke Revolution and decided to pick up this game after seeing the song list. Based on the songs included, this game is well worth the purchase. You actually get the songs performed by the original artist with the actual music video, which is something you don't get from the Karaoke Revolution series. However, I like the vocal tracking better with Karaoke Revolution. It's a great game, though.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - It's hard!
I am a Singstar junkie! This game, however, proves a bit on the disappointing for me, as this game has some of the hardest songs to sing and are not really familiar songs to me; they are from popular groups (I know all of the bands...), but these cuts are not their big radio songs. And what about The Outfield - "Your Love"? It's kind of out of place on this disk...kind of like Whitney Houston on the first Singstar Pop. Maybe I just need to learn the songs more- I'll have to or it will be a waste of my money. I don't think this game will be as fun with people 28-40.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Just Another Addition to the SingStar Library
SingStar Pop Vol. 2 does not deviate from the other SingStar titles. It offers the same format (artist video + singing) and the only difference is that this disc gives you 30 new tracks. The compilation is all right, but I still wish most these were available through the SingStore (PS3/PSN)immediately, so that I wouldn't have to buy a new PS2-based disc.

Track List as follows:
* 3 Doors Down - "When I'm Gone"
* Ashlee Simpson - "Boyfriend"
* Avril Lavigne - "My Happy Ending"
* Boys Like Girls - "The Great Escape
* Cartel - "Lose It"
* Colbie Caillat - "Bubbly"
* Dixie Chicks - "Not Ready To Make Nice"
* Duran Duran - "Ordinary World"
* Evanescence - "Bring Me To Life"
* Fall Out Boy - "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs"
* Fergie - "Big Girls Don't Cry"
* Gwen Stefani feat. Akon - "The Sweet Escape"
* Jennifer Lopez - "Jenny From the Block"
* Lifehouse - "First Time"
* Lily Allen - "Littlest Things"
* Lloyd - "Get it Shawty"
* Maroon 5 - "Makes Me Wonder"
* Matchbox Twenty - "How Far We've Come"
* Michelle Branch - "Breathe"
* Nelly Furtado - "Promiscuous"
* Norah Jones - "Don't Know Why"
* P!nk - "Who Knew"
* Peter Bjorn and John - "Young Folks"
* Plain White T's - "Hey There Delilah"
* Rihanna - "Umbrella"
* Santana feat. Chad Kroger - "Into The Night"
