Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Fun, fun, fun
My family has a lot of fun with Singstar and we own Amped, Rocks, '80s and Pop. Amped is probably my favorite.

First thing you need to know is to not pay any attention the song list Amazon has on here, I think their's is pulled from the European version or something, I'd have to look. Someone complained about having this and not being familiar with any of the songs, do you live in cave? I'm pushing 50 and I know them and not because they're all from my "era" although some are. Typical of Singstar I don't think the songs really fit their version titles though. Like on Rocks there are songs here I don't think belong on the "Amped" version. Here's a listing of the songs on the US version.

Alice in Chains - Would?
Audioslave - Cochise
Blink 182 - I Miss You
Blue Oyster Cult - (Don't Fear) The Reaper
Boston - More Than A Feeling
Cheap Trick - I Want You To Want Me
David Bowie - Changes
Fall Out Boy - This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race
Foo Fighters - Best Of You
Free - Alright Now
Iggy Pop - Real Wild Child (Wild One)
Judas Priest - You've Got Another Thing Comin'
Motorhead - Ace Of Spades
Nickelback - Savin' Me
Nirvana - Come As You Are
O.A.R. - Love and Memories
Pearl Jam - Alive
Poison - Every Rose Has Its Thorn
Queens Of The Stone Age - Go With The Flow
Quiet Riot - Cum On Feel The Noize
Radiohead - Creep
Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop
Steppenwolf - Born To Be Wild
Stone Temple Pilots - Vasoline
Sublime - Santeria
Talking Heads - Burning Down The House
The Killers - When You Were Young
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Gold Lion
Yes - Owner Of A Lonely Heart
ZZ Top - Gimme All Your Lovin'

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - You have to buy this game!
This game is so much fun! We play it at every get together and let me tell you GUYS out there... The women love this game! Trust me when I say this is a five star game and a must have for every party.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Fun...?
I got this game because I need more practice singing, and a non biased judge to tell me instantly how I am doing. In that way, this game is great, I get instant feedback on how well or badly I am singing. The song selection here is about right, as it is rock songs.

The main downside is that the game isn't that much fun, at least in solo mode. I don't have any other singing games, but I do have a couple DDR games and a guitar hero game. These are fun because you unlock songs (and other things) as you go along by how well you do, so it becomes a challenge. Here you do the song, then have to go through 3 or 4 annoying screens that don't have that much to do with game play (taking you picture?), before you finally get the chance to sing another song.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Umm...title!
When my sister convinced me that we HAD to have SingStar, I wasn't sure to expect. I was basically picturing a slightly tweaked version of Karaoke Revolution, which we have had for a while now. I pleasantly surprised, however to see just how different it is. For one thing, buying by genre makes it easier to pick out the game with songs that you are already familiar with. This is ideal for obvious reasons-its just more fun to butcher your favorite songs! I also like how it shows the actual music video in the background, and the playback option insured hilarity. The only downside I could see was the limitation of songs. With only about 30 songs per game, you can start feeling a bit limited, especially when comparing it to the vast song selection of Karaoke Revolution. Even so, I must say that I am thoroughly enjoying this game. (And thoroughly enjoying beating everyone on I Miss You and Santeria!)

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not what I expected
Based on the product description there should be songs by Ne Yo, Britney Spears and a Lets Dance By David Bowie. However the artists mentioned are not on it and a completely different Bowie song is featured.... Now if I wanted the other songs this would be fine however, not only do I not like the songs but I haven't even heard of them before. Amazon needs to put a more accurate production description for this product. :/ I'm very unhappy since I only know one song and had I known the list I would not have purchased it. Now don't get me wrong the games as a whole are fun... however this was totally not expected.
