Product Description: Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops boasts ground-breaking online play that lets gamers recruit comrades to form a unique fighting force. The game follows the events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, as Naked Snake establishes FOXHOUND in an attempt to hunt down the treacherous FOX unit, which has started a bloody revolt in South America. Set in 1970, the game will be the missing link in the ongoing Metal Gear saga, as players will learn more about returning characters such as Para-Medic, Major Zero and Sigint and also witness Naked Snake's greatest tragedy -- a loss that sets into motion the events of later games in the Metal Gear Solid timeline. Full voiceovers for cinematics, performed by returning cast from MGS3 - Snake Eater

Rating: - So Far A Pretty Fun Game For PsP
Well I bought the game close to a month ago and so far haven't beaten it. Its not that its not fun because it is, its just hard. If you are thinking of buying this game do it. Its a lot of fun, however you should try to get a strategy guide for it.
Rating: - Fun game...
The game is fairly different from recent MGS titles on the Playstation in that it involves more skill and strategy. At first it's a bit woozy, but once you get the hang of it, it's really quite fun.
Rating: - I'm a fan, and this game keeps me still be a fan.
What I don't like about this game so much is that you have to recruit soldiers before you start really playing the game. After that, get ready for some actions, and the good story. Don't get the Metal Gear Portable Plus, get this one first. With the Plus you will miss the whole story and much more. If you like this game, try Syphon Filter too (you won't have to recruit to start playing the real game).
Rating: - A solid Metal Gear for a portable.
I love the series so I decided to pick this up and I enjoy it. The controls are a tad off being that its on the cumbersome PSP, because the movement of character and camera angle are on the same side! The shotting in First Person mode is not as precise when trying to aim at the solider's head. Other than that, graphics are quite amazing, with very good 1970's spy music, cutscenes and voice acting are still top notch and the whole recruiting soliders from the enemy force is a new and fresh addition to the series, which takes place 6 years after the operation Snake Eater incident. As stated before, the other bothersome thing about this game are the controls, otherwise, its still excellent.
Rating: - Classic Metal Gear in Your Hand
This game keeps me alive when I travel. Although gameplay can sometimes be irritatingly hard, a fantastic storyline and great online play makes this a worthy buy. Game sharing is included. This is classic Metal Gear in the palm of your hand. Follow the legendary soldier Naked Snake as he saves the world.
