Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - The focus is fun!
This is a fun game for anyone who likes some light hearted beat 'em up action, but with allot of nice touches for Batman fans, especially for those who also enjoyed the Batman Animated Series. No other game I've played has captured the spirit of the material it was based on better than this game.

The action is non-stop, and though some might say repetitive, I think the developers managed to keep the levels distinct, and the thugs you fight have interesting twists. The combo system is a blast, and Batman and his allies voice work and animations are clever and entertaining. There's allot of unlockable material, and the difficulty levels progress from easy to challenging.

Great action game, a must for Batman fans.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - ZZZZZZZZZZZzzz.........
It seems fun at first but turns in to a let down. You start the game with an over head view as you fight random thugs to rescue a hostage under a timer. The first part feels like a practice level, eventually it the same pattern replayed each time for each level in this game.

Highly repetitive, and boring after the first 20-30 mins. The only positive would be the graphics. The gameplay is so boring, I gave it away only to have it given right back to me the next day.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - BAD BAD BAD
this game is repetative. all you do is rescue civilians and beat the bosses at the end of the level. that is all! nothing else! its really a bad game

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Batman:rise of Sin Tzu
I love this game!!! I like the way they put in hosteges to add some tention . That way, it's not just a beat-em'-up game. Say...if your surrounded, you better clear em' up fast, or a hosage might die and you will fail the mission. Keep that in mind. your gonna need it.So overall, THIS GAME ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - I wrote this before it went for $19.99.
What can I say I am a bit bias (in that positive way) with super hero video games. I can't recommend Rise of the Sin Tzu unlike I have other Batman titles and the following is why. First, price the other Batman games are priced at $19.99 and less and while the games aren't masterpieces I feel they are worth that price Sin Tzu wants $39.99 while the production warrants it the gameplay doesn't. Second, the release date falls so heavily into the holiday season with titles like Kain and the recent Final Fantasy and best sellers like Grand Theft Auto going for special low prices this title is sure to sink. Summer games are like summer movies, we want action we don't want to think and we are more in tune to just have fun. Fall/ Winter games and movies tend to go that extra mile I think with no big action (or not focus on it) and more substance to the stories. Sin Tzu is just a beat 'em up with no puzzles or fun things to beat our heads in over figuring things out and kind of something to keep us occupied whilst we try to stay warm. Batman is just a straight forward beat 'em up. It kind of resembles the early 90s arcade Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game moreso than it's previous titles. I think that Ubi saw the puzzle formula was doing horrible for Batman and went a simplier route and it just really got worse. While this game is sure to be more fun for fans of multi-player games the single player mode is pretty boring and I am kinda slugging through it with a sort of dazed disinterest. The game is also too difficult in my opinion and the whole game is a constant time trail to save victims and disarm bombs. You can't even appreciate some of the nice graphics in the game. I wish it was more paced. I don't like being constantly made to rush through a game. Sorry Ubi I think Sin Tzu strikes out and all that marketing money went to waste.
