Average Rating:
Rating: - Solid product
Bought it to hook up On Demand with DirecTV box. Delivery was quick as usual. The cord is standard solid product. No issues here.
Rating: - Wired privacy
One of my computers in my network only supports WEP, or Wired Equivalent Privacy wireless. Despite the name of the encryption protocol it was easily cracked many years ago - see the Wikipedia article.
I refuse to set my encryption on my router to WEP because of my geeky neighbors to accommodate this machine so I wired it and kept my WPA2 encryption.
You know your using WEP wireless if your key is hexadecimal (numbers 0-9 and ONLY the letters A, B, C, D, E, F - and exactly 10 or 26 characters long).
Rating: - If you need an ethernet cable look no further!
This CAT5E ethernet cable is exactly as the manufacturer describes. We've bought several of these over the last few years and the work flawlessly. You simply can't get a better product for this price. 50-feet goes a long way and if you don't think you need that much, it's always better to have more than not enough. GOOD BUY!
Rating: - It Gets the Job Done
This cable will do the trick. It gets the job done at a great price. Plug it into a computer, plug it into a router it works the same as any $60 priced cord you'd find at Best Buy.
