Rating: - Ever Reliable Memory Card for Wii and Gamecube
I had some bad experiences with 3rd party memory card and this is the only memory card I can trust. Quick in loading and saving . Now I am using them for the Wii. Some of bigger cards I used from 3rd party manufacturers sometimes will not read and gets corrupted. This is a decent size memory. Never buy smaller size than this one as newer games require more memory.
1. Always have a back up memory for your games. (Which means you need at least 2 of these). My other smaller kid sometimes accidentally erase some of the data by being a curious cat. He wants to try out all the buttons on the controller.
2. Never touch the memory card while the Console is on.
Rating: - Its a memory card
This is a memory card, so its hard to give it a big review... This is a great memory card if you are looking to save your progress in a few games. I finally got to the point where I needed to delete save data to play a new game i bought, so instead I bought a bigger card. But if you are getting started with GameCube games, this is a big money saving way to see if it's your style console! :D
Rating: - Good storage space.
Not the most storage space I've ever seen but good enough for a couple games. If you like sports games like Madden, you're going to have to get a different memory card because it will eat up most of the space on this one.
Rating: - It's a hardy little thing
This thing is really durable. I had misplaced it for six months and found it recently in the washer/dryer. It was rather warped and rusty, so I was afraid it wasn't going to work, but I had some game files on there I REALLY didn't want to lose, so... I scraped off the rust and stuck it in the GameCube. IT WORKED! Nothing was corrupted at all! And the amazing thing is I calculated it had been through approximately 500 loads of wash. Whoo! Even though the label was gone and the case was a bit warped, it was still going strong. Of course I'm going to transfer my files to another one to prevent rust damage to the GameCube, but... Fantastic durability.
(Disclaimer: Although this did happen at home, don't try it at home. Please.)
Rating: - Essential
For any Gamecube gamer this memory card is essential. I do not understand why Nintendo waited so long to create a bigger memory card than the 59, which is all but useless now.
